Our School

Mile Creek School is a warm and inviting elementary school (K-5) of 334 students located in the Town of Old Lyme. “Building a Solid Foundation for Learning” is the school’s motto and the core belief that inspires creative teaching and promotes educational programs that foster success for all students. It has become Mile Creek’s challenge, responsibility and pledge to the children and families of this community.

Lyme-Old Lyme Elementary Schools combine academic and social development curricula to help all students succeed in school and in life. We strive to develop confident, excited and independent learners who seek knowledge, communicate effectively, embrace effort, act thoughtfully, and commit to the common good in a global society.

School Hours: 8:45 a.m. - 3:15 p.m.
Early Dismissal Hours: 8:45 a.m. - 12:15 p.m.
